Seminar Summary

Boeing’s 2026 Maintenance Engineering seminar will focus on the Aging Airplane Program, addressing maintenance strategies and airworthiness requirements for mature aircraft. This seminar will review development and implementation of a Scheduled Maintenance Program; examine requirements and recommendations for Airplane Systems, Wiring, and Structures; and cover topics directly affecting continued operational airworthiness, all for an aging fleet.

Seminar Highlights:

Development and implementation of Maintenance Programs from an MSG-3 perspective
Managing reliability programs for aging systems and wiring
Structural fatigue inspection practices, including examples and group sessions comparing alternate fatigue inspections and intervals with Boeing-recommended intensities and intervals
Best practices for managing corrosion programs
Understanding Design Service Objectives (DSOs), Limit of Validity (LOVs), and applicable regulations
Evolution and optimization of an Aging Airplane Program

Material and Laptop Usage

Seminar materials will be distributed upon checking in at the Seminar registration desk the morning of Monday, June 1st. You will receive a TEMPORARY USB flash drive to download the materials onto your laptop. The USB devices will be collected at end of day.
